How to download TikTok photo slideshows
RamRom blog · 23 October 2026
TikTok photo posts — the swipe-through slideshows set to music — look like videos, but they are not. A slideshow post is a set of still pictures plus a song, and TikTok does not store a video version of it at all. That is why most downloaders hand you a strange result for these posts: a lone music file, or a blurry screen recording. Here is how to get the pictures themselves, at full size.
Why slideshow posts download "wrong" on other tools
When a tool treats a photo post like a video, the only "video-like" file it can find is the soundtrack. The pictures are delivered separately, one by one, and many tools never look for them. So you end up with the song and none of the photos you actually wanted.
How to save every picture with RamRom
- Open the photo post in TikTok, tap Share and choose Copy link.
- Paste the link into RamRom and tap Download.
- All of the post's pictures appear on the page, each with its own Download button. Save the ones you want — or all of them, one tap each.
- Want the song too? It is listed as the audio option on the same result.
Good to know
- The pictures are the originals. They arrive at the full size the creator uploaded — phone-wallpaper sharp, not screenshots.
- There is no slideshow video to download — not here, not anywhere. Anyone offering one has recorded or rebuilt it, usually at lower quality.
- Your own photo posts: this is the easiest way to back them up. Your pictures come back to you exactly as posted, ready to reuse on any platform.
A quick rights note
Save your own slideshows freely. For someone else's, downloading for personal viewing is one thing — reposting their pictures as your own is not. When in doubt, ask the creator.
