Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This page explains what information RamRom (ramrom.io) collects when you use our video downloader, how it is used, and the choices you have. RamRom is a free tool — there are no user accounts and we do not ask you to sign up.
What the tool processes
When you paste a TikTok or Instagram link, our server fetches public information about that video (such as its title, author, thumbnail and download links) and passes it back to your browser. We do not store the videos you download, and we do not keep a server-side record of the links you submit beyond short-lived technical logs (see below).
Information stored in your browser
The "Recent downloads" list on the home page is stored only in your own browser's local storage, on your device. It is never sent to us, and you can erase it at any time with the "Clear history" button.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. These may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. Logs are used to prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting) and to diagnose problems, and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and advertising
RamRom itself does not set cookies for tracking. However, we may show advertising provided by third parties, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
Third-party services
To fetch video information, our server communicates with the video platforms and extraction services on your behalf. Videos themselves are delivered to your device from the platforms' own content servers. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies.
Contact form
If you send us a message through the contact page, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not sell or share this information, and we keep it only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Children
RamRom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
