How to download TikTok videos

RamRom guide · Updated 21 October 2026

Want to keep a TikTok video on your phone or computer — to watch offline, or to back up one of your own uploads? RamRom does it in three steps, in your browser, with nothing to install.

Step 1: Copy the video link

Open TikTok and find the video. Tap Share (the arrow icon), then Copy link. On a computer, you can copy the address from your browser's address bar instead. Short links (vm.tiktok.com) and full links both work.

Step 2: Paste it into RamRom

Go to the RamRom home page, paste the link into the box, and press Download. After a moment you will see the video's title, author and thumbnail, so you can check it is the right one.

Step 3: Pick a quality and download

Choose a format from the list and press Download:

The file saves to your device's download folder like any other download.

Downloading your own TikToks

If you post on TikTok, downloading your own videos with RamRom is an easy backup habit. TikTok does not keep your original edits forever, and accounts can be lost — a local copy means your work survives. The no-watermark HD version is the closest thing to your original file, so back that one up.

Troubleshooting

Please download responsibly

Only save videos that are yours, or that you have the creator's permission to keep. Re-uploading someone else's video as your own breaks TikTok's rules and copyright law — and it is unfair to the person who made it.
